Description

The Cyber Data Protection Engineer 2 develops and executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. The Cyber Data Protection Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking Cyber Security Contracts Manager that will:

Negotiate Customer and vendor cyber security agreements

Ensure that Cyber security agreements (ISA) is up to date and incorporates latest federal and state regulations concerning cyber data protections

Make decisions on efficacy of mitigating controls and risks posed by vendor during contract negotiation

Ability to communicate effectively with leadership

Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Follow established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2-5 year contract negotiation experience

5 years of technical experience

2 - 5 years of information security experience
