Global Support Services, LLC (GSS) is seeking a Contracts Analyst at Philadelphia, PA.
Provide logistics support operations at DLA Troop Support, Philadelphia PA. Personnel will be responsible for resolving contract Post Award issues compiling, and analyzing data from various DLA/DOD/Military portals and legacy systems. Candidates must be proficient in the use of MS office application, in developing reports, and provide research in support of Industrial Hardware Supply Chain efforts. Candidates must be flexible, able to adapt to priorities and requirements, handle multiple tasks and work both independently as well as in a team environment. Candidates must pass a National Background Check at time of hire. The ability to acquire an immediate clearance is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all contracts assigned to include First Article Testing (FAT).
Workload averaging about 800 contracts. Required to meet 400 actions a month.
Request status and follow up on expedites of critical items needed and delinquent contracts to reduce backorder lines.
Determine proper actions to be taken to resolve contract delinquencies for stock and customer direct orders based on Contracting Officer and DLA policy.
Perform contract modifications to add clauses, add/change source inspection, extend delivery dates, change quantities, and cancel purchase orders.
Communicate daily with Quality Assurance Specialists, Product Specialists, Acquisition Specialists, Supply Planners, Customer Account Specialists, Resolution Specialists, Contracting Officers, WAWF Team, DFAS and Vendors.
Work with DCMA for source inspection.
Complete weekly and monthly reports identifying goals met; work received, processed, completed, modifications and amount of contract de-obligation.
Update contract information in Delinquency Database, EProcurement (PARS and Records Management), PATS and SIMI Notes.
General knowledge of EProcurement/EBS/SAP/DPACS/DIBBS.
Responsible for resolving a wide variety of problems, including invoice and goods receipt discrepancies, shipping details, all Vendor requests, questions and concerns.
Complex contracts for First Article Testing (FAT) which require special clauses, correspondence with Vendors, special requirements from Technical and Contracting Officers, and perform bilateral modifications.
Create guidelines for team to be included into training manuals for required systems knowledge and usage.

Job Requirements :
Required:
Two years’ experience with DLA acquisition and supply chain management experience
Education HS and/or GED.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of DLA acquisition and supply chain management
Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications.
